John Cena shut down brother's wedding after getting into fight

John Cena shared a terrifying yet hilarious story of how he had shut down his brother's wedding after getting into a fist fight.

In an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the F9 star shared how he had gifted his brother Matt Cena an open bar for the wedding.

However, that gift backfired after some liquid courage led the wrestler to get into a brawl with another brother, promptly shutting down the reception.

The story unfolded when host Jimmy directed to the wrestler if he was involved in a wedding fail to which the actor replied: "I think that's something, kind of, we all have."

"Mine was my brother Matt's wedding," he continued.

"I thought it would be a nice gesture to open the bar. Drinks are on me, that's my gift to the bride and groom. Nobody would have to pay for anything."

Apparently John had one too many and got into a fight with his other brother Dan Cena.

"So, I found out it was a mistake when my brother Dan and I got into a fistfight in the middle of the dance floor and closed the wedding down," John recalled.

He added how his family members were not particularly fazed with their violent exchange.

"You could tell, right then and there, who were guests, and who were a member of the Cena family," he quipped.

"Because the guests were like, 'What are you gonna do to stop it?' and the Cena family's like, 'No, no, let 'em figure it out. Let 'em do it

Major blow to Peshawar Zalmi ahead of PSL final

ABU DHABI: Peshawar Zalmi’s campaign to the trophy hit a snag when Haider Ali and Umaid Asif were suspended from the Pakistan Super League ahead of the final for breaching bio-secure protocols.

Accoring to a PCB statement, the duo has admitted to charges of violating the health and safety protocols and will not be available against Multan Sultans today.

The PCB stated that they met people from outside their designated bio-secure bubble and also failed to maintain the prescribed social distancing.

The incident happened on Wednesday and the decision was made earlier today by the Tournament COVID-19 Management Panel comprising Barrister Salman Naseer (PCB, Chief Operating Officer) and Babar Hamid (Director – Commercial, and PSL 6 head).

“The two cricketers were found not to have interacted with any other squad members at any time after the incident and have been placed in room isolation,” it added.

Furthermore, Haider Ali has been withdrawn from the England and West Indies tours, respectively.

Pakistan Chief Selector Muhammad Wasim, in consultation with captain Babar Azam and head coach Misbah-ul-Haq, has named Sohaib Maqsood as Haider Ali’s replacement for the two tours on which the Pakistan men’s national cricket team will play three ODIs and eight T20Is, apart from two Tests in Jamaica.

Sohaib has had a stellar Pakistan Super League 6, in which he has to date scored 363 runs in 11 matches with an average of 40.33 and strike-rate of just under 153.

He has represented Pakistan in 26 ODIs and 20 T20Is, with his last T20I appearance being against New Zealand in Hamilton in January 2016

Prince Harry's UK visit to be a 'fleeting' one: 'He’ll be in and out'

Prince Harry's stay in the UK next week will be a short-lived one this time around as he wants to return to Meghan and his newborn daughter, Lilibet Diana.

The father of two will be rushing back to his family in California without wasting any time.

The Duke of Sussex will not spend as many days in his home country as he did during Prince Philip's funeral.

Harry will be unveiling his mother, Princess Diana's statue with William, on what would have been her 60th birthday.

“It’ll be a fleeting visit,” the insider said. “He’ll be in and out.”

“While the brothers are uniting for the unveiling, sadly, they won’t get to spend much time together,” the insider added.

A separate source said Harry will not be seen in public the whole time he will be in the UK because he has to quarantine, most probably at Frogmore Cottage, due to COVID-19 restrictions

Kashmiri leaders denounce Modi's all-parties conference

As Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi meets Kashmiri politicians in Delhi for talks, popular Kashmiri leaders in IoK have denounced the move as a drama by the Indian government and state.

In a video message recorded before the meeting, Kashmiri activist Mushaal Hussein Mullick referred to Modi's meeting as a "theatre and drama".

She said the Indian prime minister and his government had "made every Kashmiri stateless, without an identity and snatching their flag and statehood".

Mullick said Modi expected the world to believe there is normalcy and democracy "on the graveyard of innocent Kashmiris, when every Kashmiri is being silenced and is being forced to evacuate".

She said those who represented the people of occupied Kashmir were being locked up, beaten up, harassed and sent to death cells.

"Bravo to Mr Modi for believing the world to be so foolish, or expecting it to be deaf and dumb or, with eyes wide shut that they can't see what you've done to us?" she asked.

Hurriyat representative Altaf Hussain Wani also rejected the conference, saying that holding talks with "so-called politicians" and giving the impression that the situation in IoK is returning to normalcy, is wrong.

"The Indian government has always betrayed the people of Kashmir," he said, adding that there was no other option for the people of Kashmir but for them to be given the right to self-determination.

Modi to meet 14 Kashmiri leaders in Delhi today

As per news reports, Modi is set to meet 14 pro-India Kashmiri leaders today, four among them former chief ministers of occupied Kashmir.

Prominent leaders who have been invited to the conference include Farooq Abdullah, his son Omar Abdullah, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mehbooba Mufti.

The Modi government, however, has not invited the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) for the conclave.

This would be first political engagement between the Kashmiri leadership and the BJP government in the Centre since New Dehli scrapped Article 370 of its Constitution in August 2019 - a move strongly opposed by the people and Pakistan and China.

Modi should speak to Pakistan too, says Mehbooba Mufti

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mufti urged the Indian prime minister, before the meeting, to talk to Pakistan too on the Kashmir issue.

She said there was no reason for India not to talk to Pakistan when countries can have a dialogue with others.

“If they can go to Doha and talk to the Taliban, they should have a dialogue with us and with Pakistan too in order to bring about a resolution,” she said.

She spoke about her agenda for the Modi meeting. Mufti said that the leaders will put forth their views and press for demand to restore Jammu and Kashmir's statehood
